I think the second example is better, but even when you use the first one you can categorize it in a way that it gets added to the index in a right way. Use
<nowiki>[[Category:HowTo|plotting order ideals]]</nowiki>
for that.

How should we call articles like this?

  • How To plot order ideals
  • plotting order ideals

the second one has the advantadge, that the alpabetical order here would be useful...

any other ideas, comments? otherwise I move the article...

Don't add the howto to the article title, but add articles of this nature to the howto category. We might want to add a naming policy of pages to the Wiki somewhere.
