return the class of a given derivative

Syntax

DA.Class(X:INDET):INT

Description

The function Class returns the class of derivative X, i.e., the index of the differential indeterminate of which it is a derivative.

• @param X Indeterminante for which the class is computed.

• @return The class of indeterminate X.

Example

Use Q[x[1..2,0..20]];
$diffalg.Class(x[2,8]);
